Welcome to my silly world! I’m Sydney Fortune, a New Orleans native born in Memphis TN . My journey in the world of design began across the pond in London, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design Arts from the London College of Communication.

Returning to New Orleans, I dove into the vibrant film and television industry, joining the costume department where I’ve been apart of crafting stories through clothing since 2017. As a proud member of I.A.T.S.E 478 since 2018, I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside some incredibly talented designers and costumers.

In 2023, amid the turbulence of the writers' strike, I found a new creative outlet in launching Its Playtime! Couture. This venture is a testament to resilience and creativity, born from the challenging circumstances that left many of us in the industry jobless. I craft corseted tees from Pro Club heavy-weight cotton t-shirts, transforming them through intricate alterations and hand-painted designs.
